  1. Message Tagline Policy

  3. Power-QWK allows you to append taglines, single-line pithy
  4. remarks, to messages that you send.
  5.  
  6. For more details on the use of taglines, and on Power-QWK's
  7. Tagline Manager, press T at the Power-QWK Conference Menu
  8. and then, when the Tagline Manager window is on screen, press
  9. F1 for Help.

  11. You may keep as many tagline files as you wish, one of which
  12. is deemed to be 'current' at any single moment.

  14. Power-QWK allows four options:
  15.  
  16. 1. You can elect not to use taglines at all;
  17.  
  18. 2. You can have Power-QWK select a tagline at random from the
  19.    current tagline file every time you send a message.
  20.  
  21. 3. You can ask to be shown the contents of the current tagline
  22.    file every time you send a message, so that you can choose
  23.    one which is suitable or even elect not to have a tagline on
  24.    a particular message.

  26. 4. You can choose a hybrid scheme whereby Power-QWK picks a
  27.    tagline at random from the current tagline file but rather
  28.    than just appending it to the current message, gives you the
  29.    option of keeping it or selecting a new one as in option 3.

  31. To edit your Tagline file, Press T at the Power-QWK Conference
  32. Menu to enter Tagline Manager. If you elect to choose taglines
  33. yourself, rather than having Power-QWK select them for you,
  34. then you may edit the current tagline file whenever you select
  35. a tagline for the current message.
